Hey friends, I’m Meghan!

I’m a twenty-something (almost thirty-something) Idaho gal with strong Midwest roots. I love all things food and wine related, and consider myself to be a pretty decent home cook. When I’m not dreaming of or eating food, I work as a communications coordinator and I am incredibly lucky to have a position that allows me to telecommute. Which is definitely a bonus because in 2016 my husband Will and I gave up our permanent address to pursue our dream of traveling the country.

Will is a traveling physical therapist, and it’s thanks to his hard work and vision that we are able to build this new lifestyle. From the moment he chose his profession he knew that he wanted to work in travel therapy. And since I’ve never been very good at staying put, we make an excellent pair to travel this road together. It’s not always easy and it’s not always fun, but he makes me smile every single day and that’s all I can ask for.

Joining us on this adventure is our cat, Pepino, and our dog, Fudge. Traveling with animals certainly adds an extra layer of difficulty, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

 

We are just setting out on this path, but I am so very excited to see where it leads. My hope is that this site can bring a little clarity to both myself, and those who are curious about life as a traveler. There is sure to be ups and downs, but I hope you’ll follow along as we carve out our place in the world.
